Interview: Stefanie Seyda M.D about Natucain and its hair growth serum

Ärztin entwickelt Behandlung gegen Haarausfall

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO DEVELOP NATUCAIN?

I am a fan of active ingredient cosmetics. Here, medicine and biochemistry come together in a perfect way. Back in 2008, I was involved in the first launch of an eyelash growth product and during this time I also learned a lot about the cosmetics market, especially what customers want. As a medical doctor, I know what makes hair grow and look beautiful, and with this knowledge, so many people can be more beautiful and happier.

WERE THERE ANY SPECIAL CHALLENGES IN CREATING THE PRODUCT?

We wanted to develop and find the perfect formula and innovative, sustainable molecules. It takes between 8-10 weeks for a hair to develop in the root so that you can see it. That's already quite a long time. That's why we used other active ingredients, so that in the bridging time you can already see the first successes. That means after 3-4 weeks the hair loss is reduced and the hair structure becomes stronger.

WHAT IS THE MAIN INGREDIENT IN NATUCAIN THAT PROMOTES HAIR GROWTH?

MKMS24 is an active ingredient complex of bamboo, lentil and thyme, which develops its highly potent effectiveness through a biochemical process. Only when the hair root is well nourished can hair sprout properly.

HOW IS NATUCAIN DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET?

Natucain is applied to the scalp and unfolds exactly where the body needs it: at the hair root. Our independent studies prove the effectiveness of the product in 90% of all users.

DOES HAIR LOSS AFFECT MEN AND WOMEN DIFFERENTLY?

Emotionally, it certainly has very different consequences. Men always find "fellow sufferers" and a bald head can also be worn very cool. In women, from my point of view, only Sinéad O'Connor and Cara Delevingne have succeeded in doing this. Our product works equally well for men and women.
